24th Annual Children's Miracle Network Broadcast
to benefit MUSC Children's Hospital, June 2nd, 2007
The 24th Annual Children's Miracle Network Broadcast Celebration to benefit MUSC Children's Hospital will air live on Saturday, June 2nd, from 8am - 6pm, on WCSC-TV5. Debi Chard and Bill Sharpe, local news anchors for WCSC-TV5, will host the celebration.
Current and former patients of MUSC Children's Hospital, will share their miraculous stories of success. Their families will also be on hand to explain what it is like to deal with the illness or injury of a child. The broadcast will also feature representatives from local businesses and organizations who will present their gifts from local fundraisers held throughout the year. In addition, Brandon Peek, the South Carolina Children's Miracle Network Ambassador for 2007, will make appearances on air throughout the afternoon.
All proceeds benefit MUSC Children's Hospital, South Carolina's largest and most comprehensive pediatric healthcare center. MUSC Children's Hospital consists of a complete network of primary care physicians, specialists, surgeons, services and programs - all dedicated to children.
