Dedicated to helping women enjoy the healthiest pregnancy possible, MUSC Prenatal Wellness Center is staffed by nationally recognized maternal-fetal specialists trained in genetic counseling and the care of low and high-risk pregnancies. Throughout pregnancy, each patient is followed by a team of physicians, genetic counselors, nurse midwives and ultrasound technologists. After delivery, if needed, both mother and child continue to receive the intensive obstetric or neonatal pediatric care that is often required from high-risk births. The Prenatal Wellness Center offers a complete range of prenatal counseling and testing services, including: Diagnostic testing and screening - amniocentesis, biophysical profiles, etc. Counseling -- preconception, genetic and high-risk pregnancies Specialty clinics - diabetes and twins clinic Education -- breast-feeding, childbirth classes, hospital tours, etc. Please ask your healthcare provider for more information about any of our services. Prenatal appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.
