General Pediatrics
The division of general pediatrics provides inpatient and outpatient care to all children. Our
hospitalists
provide care on the inpatient units of MUSC's Children's Hospital.
In addition, our faculty practice and
pediatric primary care (the Pediatric Resident Practice) provide outpatient
care on the 3rd floor of Rutledge
Tower. These clinics are open M - F, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., with
appointments scheduled before 4 p.m.
On nights and weekends, both pediatric residents and pediatric faculty
members are available by phone for
our patients.
Our faculty members are all fellowship trained in general pediatrics, and all have research interests and
active research efforts. Some of our areas of expertise include environmental health, toxicology,
immunizations, medication prescribing errors, medical education, and international health.
