The MUSC team is recognized by the American Cleft Palate Association and includes representatives from the fields of audiology, genetics, oral surgery, orthodontics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, pediatric dentistry, plastic surgery and speech and language pathology. Other disciplines such as neurosurgery and orthopaedics are available to patients as needed. Team members become involved with the child from the moment of birth. Team members also are available to families to offer support and respond to questions and concerns. Our craniofacial anomalies and cleft palate clinic is located on the 4th floor of Rutledge Tower.
